On the 18th of September, 2012 Society without violence NGO held the second meeting with the new volunteers and interns, who had a chance to develop their Personal Development Plans and represent them in front of the other volunteers. At this time there were also 2 new interns participating, who had recently arrived from Sweden and Lithuania. They were very sweet, calm, young ladies whose presence brought new breath to the organization. The fact of having international interns from other cultures already made the others very curious and interested.
Each presentation made by the volunteers was unique in its structure, content, design and the way of presenting.

It has been already 10 years that “Society without Violence” NGO carries out a series of activities in several regions of Republic of Armenia.
The vision of SWV is to have civil society without violence, society where the country will be governed by people adherent to true democracy values, people who respect and promote gender equality, society where there will be no space for violence against women.
Unfortunately, nowadays there are few people, who understand the principles of gender equality and try to contribute to its establishment. That is why; one of the objectives of our organization is the development of people’s notions on gender equality and raising their awareness, as well as to inspire them with steps made by our young activists directed to the breaking of gender based stereotypes and elimination of violence against women.
