Lusine is a public policy and development specialist with Master՛s Degree in Political Science and International Affairs received from American University of Armenia. Her work and research experience in public policy domain shaped her identity as an advocate for women’s rights and gender equality. She was engaged in numerous studies related to gender issues such as women’s underrepresentation in politics and in general in labor market, stereotypes, violation of women’s rights, discrimination and gender biased sex selection etc. Lusine is a feminist/activist and currently holds the position of Head of the Programmes at Society Without Violence NGO. Lusine manages overall operations in the organization, including project development, fundraising, communication and logistics as well as ensures the effective systems of monitoring and evaluation are in place.
